Dagbamba Masters is a rare recording of traditional drumming from the Northern Region of Ghana, West Africa. This recording was made "live" in the village and not in a recording studio. The sound is the most authentic you will find on any CD because the musicians wanted to make a cd that was deeply rooted in their cultural traditions, and not new choreography that is fairly recent. Some of the best musicians in Tamale are playing on this recording and this is a must have for students of Dagbamba music and dance. The tracks included are Tipariga, Takai, Bamaaya, and Tora.
